Django-webhooks is a lightweight Django app that provides support for webhooks. This tool helps in sending notifications from one application to another. It also enables easy creation of custom events and URLs for incoming webhooks.
To use Durian, simply import django.db.signals and django.contrib.auth.models.User. Then, use the ModelHook function provided by Durian to create listeners for desired events. Durian can also send events based on user-specific or generalized parameters.
Additionally, Durian provides a view for listening to URLs using Django's HttpResponse and anyjson's deserialize functions. This feature enables Durian to send webhook payloads to desired endpoints.
Installation is available through Python Package Index (PyPI) or source, with pip and easy_install both being viable installation methods. Those who prefer to install from source can do so with the provided build and install commands.
