The ePloy project is a software tool that plots eBay prices.
As a further feature, ePloy can also generate graphs from the database, hence allowing users to obtain various information about the auctions. The one critical thing to keep in mind when using ePloy is that you will require several eBay developer keys and a token. However, obtaining them is easier than you might think.
Users can get all the necessary keys for free by going to the developer.ebay.com site. After obtaining the three keys, fill out the self-certification form, get three more keys, fill out the ebay.ini file with those keys, specify the eBay user account to the site and, finally, obtain the token. Obtaining the token will take a few lines of text, but no worries; the tool cannot destroy or accidentally bid on any eBay data.
Even with the token, another certification form is required to gain write access to eBay from the API. The tool has been released, and it is now usable, but only on Unix. The new plotter is set to have Windows support as well.
