Evilbar is a compact bar application that utilizes ncurses technology.
Not only does evilbar offer a sleek design, but it has also been successfully built and tested on various systems including FreeBSD 4.3, 4.6, 4.7, 5.0, -CURRENT, Debian 3.0 (kernel 2.4.18-bf2.4), and RedHat 7.3 (kernel 2.4.18-3).
Installation is made simple with the basic command of './configure make make install', which will provide you with the standard evilbar complete with XMMS control and the clock. However, if you're an advanced user, './configure' offers several special evilbar options. You can enable the APM module to show battery-status with the '--enable-apm' option or disable XMMS control with the '--disable-xmms' option.
Overall, evilbar proves to be a useful and stylish addition to any evilWM setup.
