FEST is a Java library which facilitates functional Swing GUI testing through a fluent interface.
Even the simplest GUI encloses some level of complexity. As a result, any software complexity must be tested to prevent bugs from occurring. A well-tested application has a greater chance of overall success.
During application maintenance, refactoring is a frequent occurrence to improve design. This code often incorporates vast portions of the user interface. Having a solid test suite covering GUI code increases confidence in ensuring that bugs are not inadvertently introduced.
