This software enables font management on Gnu/Linux systems.
At the moment, Fonty Python is written as a mixed command-line/gui application, facilitating fast use. Moreover, you can install or remove pogs without having to start the entire gui, which is pretty impressive. The latest version of Fonty Python is 0.2.0 and has an amazing user interface. Though none of the command-line goodness has been compromised, as it still functions perfectly.
If you install FP and come across bugs or any flaws, please let the developers know. They are eager to receive feedback and make necessary improvements. The installation process is user-friendly. You can extract the "tarball" to start and change to the directory it creates. As the root user, enter the command, python setup.py install. On Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Xubuntu/etc, run sudo python setup.py install to create a program called 'fp.'.
Alternatively, move the entire extracted folder into a folder that is in your PATH like ~/bin, create a link to the fp script, and make it executable with chmod u+x fp. Once you have completed the installation process, you can run the program by typing 'fp -h.' Enjoy the experience of managing your fonts with ease using Fonty Python software.
