Installation of the software is pretty straightforward. All you have to do is download the shell script, then identify its file extension for the shell you are currently using. Then, copy the script to an executables directory, such as /usr/local/bin/ or /usr/X11/bin/. If you are using ksh or zsh, we recommend that you use "fruitXterm.bash" as it is more compatible.
In terms of usage, this version of FruitXterm comes with a demo that has a randomized foreground color. However, the full version comes with exciting features such as randomized background and cursor colors. Additionally, it offers five different color modes which include fruit, monochrome, light, randomized, and rainbow.
