Experience the functionality of a CASIO FX-602P programmable calculator with a convenient simulator. Perfectly suited for engineers, this software allows for complex calculations to be effortlessly managed, offering a reliable and high-capacity performance.
All displayed numbers are rounded to 10 digits, and the FX-602P Simulator can be programmed just like its predecessor. Every feature—indirect addressing, alphanumeric display—can be accessed and utilized through the simulation. Memory-wise, this simulator can exceed the original calculator: the number of programmable steps has been increased to 999, and the memory register can be set freely between 11 and 110 without losing any steps.
Program steps and memory register data are saved when the simulation is suspended or shut down. Additionally, the FX-602P Simulator emulates the FA-2 cassette interface. Although data can no longer be physically saved on Kansas-City-Standard cassette tapes, the data is now stored in permanent memory on the host computer. The same file format supported by the original calculator is used, so it's possible to exchange programs between an original FX-602P and the FX-602P Simulator by using a program that converts Kansas-City-Standard sound files to normal binary files.
Version 2.0 of the simulator also includes the ability to simulate the FP-10 thermal printer. Printouts can be easily copied and pasted into other applications. The FX-602P Simulator is compatible with Windows, Linux, and MacOS, and versions for cellphones include a desktop version. Overall, the FX-602P Simulator is an exceptional tool for those who want to experience the functionality and precision of the classic FX-602P calculator on their computer or mobile device.
