GADisk is a disk that is accessible worldwide.
Administrator accounts require a username and password to be set up in the configuration file. Once you login, you can view and delete downloads and users from the admin area. If a particular file is not downloaded, you can resend the request to BASSA.
User accounts do not require any configuration in the browser. Once you exceed the download limit, the proxy will automatically redirect you to the GADisk system. Create a login account to add your downloads. The password will be sent to your email and can be changed once you login. You must login to download files and return to the GADisk website to access them.
Some advantages of GADisk include fast access within the local network for quick downloads, avoiding repetition of downloads, and managing your downloads in one place. Best of all, this system is free to use. Some disadvantages are that downloading outside the network can be slow and the implementation of the system requires knowledge about servers.
To use GADisk, you must have Apache 2, MySQL 5, PHP 5, PHP5-MySQL5, PHP5-FTP, PHP5-Extensions (session), mod_php5, and MD5. The latest release includes new features such as FlowPlayer for flv & swf streaming, a new logo, and the ability to list 10 pages at a time. Additionally, filenames can be extracted from PHP queries and files can be searched by name, size, or URL. XML.php has been removed, and a separate info page has been created. A comments table has been added to the database, and a comment box has been added for all files. The IP column has been moved to the downloads table, and an ID and file_type column have been added.
