Gamefu project, formerly known as Kamefu, is a game collection manager and emulator frontend designed for UNIX operating systems. If you are currently using Kamefu, make sure to update your SVN checkout as there is no release with the new name yet.
Supported Systems:
The current version, 0.1, supports the following systems: NES (Nintendo Entertainment System), SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System), GB/GBC (Game Boy/Game Boy Color), GBA (Game Boy Advance), and MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator).
Requirements:
To use Gamefu, you will need Qt 3.3.x, QtSQL with QSQLITE plugin, and KDE 3.5.
Stable Release 0.1.1:
The stable release provides some important fixes such as filters update after collection building, addition of ZIP files in the collection, and desktop file display correction in the menu.
Development Release 0.2 Beta 1:
The development release brings some innovative features, including a CMake buildsystem, threading framework, generic plugin support, plugin for filling images in the database, status bar and passive notification framework imported from Amarok, KIO Thumbnail plugin showing titlescreens for ROMs in Gamefu's current database, and Gamefu_launch application launching a ROM passed as a command argument.
