Gcb is a copy-paste buffer built using Gtk.
One advantage of gcb over its predecessor is its user-friendliness when assigning snooper buttons using the right click feature. Furthermore, gcb incorporates a tool-tip that allows for complete content display.
Additionally, gcb is written in Gtk, meaning it has innate i18 display capabilities. Gcb can also watch the clipboard of gtk (mozilla), and it maintains a history of changes made to the paste buffer.
By default, gcb is sticky on Gnome/Gtk, and users have the option to specify the window decoration that they prefer. The setup process for installing the software is relatively simple.
The latest release of gcb has seen a change in the duration of sleep from 0.1 to 0.03. For a software reviewer, gcb appears to be an efficient and user-friendly option for maintaining multiple strings in a paste buffer.
