The GGMud project offers a graphical MUD client equipped with abundant features.
To use it on MacOSX, users will need the Apple X11 server (X11User.pkg), which is readily available on Panther and Tiger installation DVDs. Most users will have it already since it is required to use GIMP.
Some of the key features of GGMud include ANSI 16 color output with split screen review buffer, separate input line with history, connection wizard with autologin, Aliases, Triggers (with class support), Highlights, Gags, Numeric keypad walking, Speedwalks, Variables and if clauses, Tintin configuration import, Partial ZMud configuration import, Macros with function keys, Multiple windows support, Timers, FULLY scriptability through LUA, Logging, and ASCII file configuration files to be as portable as possible and editable by hand.
To use GGMud, users will require glibc 2.x and gtk 2.x. The latest release of GGMud comes with some exciting new features. The software now supports button functionality and comes with hbutton, vbutton, new GUI to create or remove buttons, and a new config file /buttons. It also includes trigger special character '$' that match the end of a line, new font configuration dialog, and added new config toggle SkipTaskbar to hide GGMud fast if you are gaming in office.
