Ghost In The Mail is a GTK+ 2-based anonymous email client for Linux, coded in C.
The latest update is a significant improvement in terms of stability and performance. The code has undergone a complete review, and all functions containing malloc(CONST_VAL) have been rewritten. Two new functions, gitm_malloc & gitm_realloc, are added to check pointers after allocating them. Furthermore, commentaries are added to make the functions more comprehensible for users.
The software has introduced new source files to distribute the functions logically. The file cbbentries.* has been replaced with history.* for improved core/GUI splitting. A constant named GITM_VERSION has been created, to maintain the version number. Also, the MIME boundary generator is now randomized for added security. The software features full display of server errors, for better user-experience.
In conclusion, Ghost In The Mail is a reliable and secure software that provides an exceptional anonymous e-mailing experience for Linux users. The latest update is well worth its price, for its improved stability, advanced features, and better performance.
