This software is capable of generating HTML map text while simultaneously plotting a graph.
The module will label each series as 'series 1', 'series 2', and so on, unless you have specified otherwise using the $obj->seriesnames. For each series, it creates a polygon area with a specific structure. The polygon area contains the following attributes:
- AREA
- alt="Green"
- href="#Green"
- onMouseOver="self.status='Green'; return true"
- onMouseOut="self.status=''; return true"
- shape=polygon
- coords="87, 41, 165, 250, 165, 246, 87, 37"
Here, the assumption is that the series is named 'Green' and the links member array is empty. You can click on the series, and it will take you to #Green. However, if you have not specified #Green in the document, then clicking on it will do very little. If you have mentioned it, for instance, in the key, then clicking on the series will take you directly there.
Overall, GIFgraph::WithMap is a handy tool that allows you to plot graphs and generate HTML map text simultaneously. It is ideal for anyone looking for an easy way to incorporate map functionality into their graphs.
