GTKmonop is a client designed for the monopoly daemon created by Rob Kaper, enabling users to play the Monopoly board game on their computer in a user-friendly graphical environment.
The software requires several components, mainly GTK+ 1.2.8, libgmonopd, and libxml2 2.4.0, in order to function properly. The newest version of the software provides several improvements and fixes. It features support for libgmonopd in addition to several new tax and jail images added to 'gradient'. Additionally, a major bug was fixed where the software was releasing memory that wasn't initially allocated during the first pixmap initialization. The graphics storage system was completely revamped once more to address this issue.
Further improvements were made concerning the resizing of the software, making it operate more efficiently. The software was updated to function properly with gmonopd. Overall, there were several minor improvements thrown in along with major changes that make this current version of the software a significant improvement over its predecessor.
