Image 3D Rotate is a scripting software that adds a perspective distortion to images using Kommander, making the images appear in 3D.
When using this tool, your image is treated as if it were painted on the Z=0 ground plane. The picture plane is then rotated, so the image is perspectively projected to a camera, which is located at a distance equal to the focal length above the ground plane. The camera is looking straight down along the -Z direction.
To use the software, simply input the 3Drotate command, followed by your desired options and input/output filenames. The available options include pan, tilt, roll, pef (perspective exaggeration factor), idx/ idy/ odx/ ody (pixel displacement), zoom, bgcolor, and skycolor. Additionally, there are several auto-options for center bounding boxes, zooming, and creating output images of the selected size.
To use Image 3D Rotate, you'll need a few prerequisites installed including Kommander > 1.2.1 and ImageMagick > 6.3.0.
