Heatmap image builder software produces visual representations of data density. It allows you to create these images quickly and easily by uploading your data and choosing your preferred settings for color, opacity, and scale. These images are useful for identifying patterns or trends in large datasets.
Early versions of Image::Heatmap have produced amazing images that clearly display the density of user-defined points on a map.
The module has two primary methods:
- new(): This function instantiates and returns a blessed scalar reference to an integer (which represents the 'object id'). The implementation does not use any third-party modules like Moose or Class::Accessor, yet provides excellent object management.
- process(): This function generates the heatmap and saves it to a file, which is matched to a chosen type based on its suffix. The file is saved to the location specified in the 'output' attribute.
Overall, the Image::Heatmap Perl module is powerful and easy-to-use for creating customized heatmap images.
