JACL is an interpreted language used for creating interactive fiction. It was specifically designed for this purpose and allows developers to create interactive stories that engage and immerse users.
Apart from interactive fiction, users can create wide-ranging turn-based games with cgijacl. The interface can be formed using HTML, enabling players to use any typical web browser.
Since cgijacl doesn't need a separate web server to function, it's easy to install it on most PCs. This makes it possible to play games locally or across a network.
Lastly, special thanks to Andreas Matthias for contributing the webjacl code, and Niels Haedecke for their work on translation and internationalization.
