JBattleship is a network-based game that lets players participate in battleship games online.
The installation process is relatively easy. You only need to set your $JAVA_HOME environment variable to your Java installation directory (use ``export JAVA_HOME=/path/to/Java/``), and if you can't locate your Java executable, run ``locate javac``. If locate gets you nowhere, run ``updatedb`` as root. If everything else fails, make sure you have Java installed. Visit [Java's official website](https://www.java.com/) for more information.
The server is started by executing ``./runserver.sh``, and the client is started by running ``./runclient.sh``. If you encounter any issues, double-check that your $JAVA_HOME variable is set correctly by typing ``echo $JAVA_HOME``.
The newest version, JBattleship version 2, is fully-functional for *NIX systems. It comes with many improvements that make the game even more enjoyable to play.
