JCameo is a comprehensive GUI development framework, based on model-driven Swing methodologies. It features full support for all aspects of GUI development.
To use JCameo, you'll need to have Java 1.5 or higher installed on your system. Experienced users of the software will be pleased to find several additions and improvements in the latest release.
Of note, the MDE package has undergone a complete rewrite, making it easier than ever to develop tool support for JCameo. The package now features an explicit schema with JSON-like notation, providing greater flexibility and control than ever before.
Other new features in the release include updates to the CheckBox, Grid, Hbox, Vbox, and TitledPanel widgets. The JCTreeModel is now available, allowing you to edit a given property of the user object, and a new CardPane demo has been added.
Finally, SwingX has been upgraded to version 20070527, and Spring has been upgraded to version 2.0.5. All in all, JCameo is a reliable, feature-rich software package that's well worth checking out if you're in need of a powerful Swing framework.
