Kamikaze is a KDE action game with gameplay inspired by Bomberman.
One of the key features of Kamikaze is the ability to choose from four different themes, with the option to use original graphics as well. With ten levels available initially, players also have the option to create and share unlimited additional levels through the Level sharing page.
The latest version of Kamikaze also includes a new Internet level repository, as well as a level editor for players to create their own unique levels. For those who enjoy playing on the GGZ Gaming Zone, Kamikaze supports this platform as well.
Other updates to the game include a new network protocol and snapshot versions for OPIE. Additionally, a port to Python/SDL has been added in the latest version of Kamikaze.
One of the most exciting new features added to the game is the ability to register player statistics with the server during online gameplay. In addition, maintenance updates have been made to ensure compatibility with current KDE and GGZ versions. Finally, all data files were converted to UTF-8 to eliminate umlaut display problems.
Overall, Kamikaze is a fun and engaging action game with a multitude of features and options for players. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new gaming experience on KDE.
