The Kmail software introduces an enhanced POP filter feature that includes antispam/scoring capabilities. These improvements provide a more efficient and effective filtering system for Kmail users.
Some of the enhancements are specifically designed for use with KDE 3.x. For example, emails can now be highlighted for download or deletion, text exceeding column dimensions is displayed in tool-tips, and actions can be ordered by type. Additionally, filters can be set to automatically delete messages that meet certain criteria, such as being of a specific type or being a certain age.
Other new features include the ability to quickly perform single key presses to stop, watch, select, or set up messages, a single list view for all types of message filters, and the option to see only messages that correspond to a specific action. Filtering options have also been expanded to include search parameters in the message's header or body, and users can specify the minimum and maximum number of body rows to be downloaded (proportional to the message's size). These new improvements make Kmail POP filter with antispam/scoring an even more versatile and user-friendly email management tool.
