KSql is a KDE-based client application for databases that was previously known as KMySql.
The primary goal of KSql was to create a user-friendly way to interact with databases and replace the old, text-based clients. This goal has been fully realized, as users can now browse various SQL servers in a tree view, execute SQL queries, and view results in multiple tabular views. The software is easy to use and provides an excellent experience for those who prefer a graphical user interface.
The secondary goal of KSql was to provide extended database facilities such as forms, table creation and editing, and server administration. These additional features make KSql a comprehensive database management tool that can handle complex and diverse database systems.
Finally, the ultimate goal of KSql is to provide a full-featured database application that follows the application concept. This is slated for the next kmysql generation, but even in its current form, KSql is a valuable tool for database management. With its intuitive interface and powerful features, it is definitely worth exploring.
