Libbeep allows Linux users to easily incorporate music from their PC beeper into any program.
What's new in the latest release? Quite a few things actually. Firstly, you can now specify a root note other than middle A and a frequency different from 440 Hz. You can choose between natural and equidistant tuning. Additionally, spaces before parameter values are now accepted, so you can simply write "L 4" instead of "L4". Finally, the makefile has been added, so everything is now properly organized for easy use.
All in all, if you're looking for a simple and versatile way to get some music out of your PC beeper, libbeep is definitely the library you should go with. It's easy to use and makes adding music to any program a breeze.
