Log Watcher simplifies system logs by adding color, facilitating easier read-to-use analysis.
Users can customize their compilation settings with `configure' to enable specific features. If needed, users can also provide changes to the `configure' script and send them to the developers for consideration in future releases. Users can easily compile the package by following the simple steps provided. Running `configure' may take a while, but prints messages throughout the process indicating which features are being checked for.
After compilation, users can run self-tests via `make check' and subsequently install the software, data files and documentation with `make install'. Clean up of the source code directory can be done with `make clean' by removing program binaries and object files. For a fresh start with a different computer configuration, users can use `make distclean' to delete all files created by `configure'. `make maintainer-clean' can also be used to clear the directory but it's more intended for developers.
The software updates have corrected some manual typos, changed default settings in the config file, made minor changes for compatibility with OpenBSD, and addressed lwatch crashes experienced by some users.
