KDE4 software enables users to easily create presentation slides in the form of PDF files.
However, KDE 4 has lost this feature, leaving behind only a minimal option to print multiple pages on one page, which is unfortunately broken. As a result, the Make 4 Slides per Page service menu was developed to fill in the gap left by the new version of KDE.
This service menu is incredibly convenient to use, allowing users to print 4 beamer slides in a predetermined, logical order. Simply hit print and the first page will be at the top of the stack. It is a shame that such an essential feature had to be developed by a third party, rather than be included in KDE4, as this document processing framework has been lost to users.
Overall, I can conclude that this feature is sorely missed from KDE4, and without it, KDE as a whole feels incomplete. In my opinion, the Make 4 Slides per Page service menu is a must-have for anyone looking to easily convert PDFs into slides.
