miniPager3D is a software tool that replicates minipager and incorporates the 3D Desktop feature to modify the virtual desktop.
The miniPager3D project offers users the opportunity to choose 3D Desktop preferences from an additional context menu. To install miniPager3D, the user would have to download the sources, extract them, then CD into the created repository minipager3d. Next, the user would have to type the following command: ./configure --prefix=`kde-config` && make && su -c make install. Finally, to load the kapplet, the user would have to right-click in the kicker panel, select add, then applet and select minipager3d.
miniPager3D has been tested on mdk10.1/10.2b3 with kde-3.2.3/3.3.2 and 3ddesktop-0.2.7-1/ 0.2.8. It is recommended that users use the latest release of 3ddesktop, 0.2.8, for it fixes an annoying bug.
In this latest release of miniPager3D, a version for kde3.3.2 has been added. Additionally, a small bug has been fixed- the zoomout now reads from the config file.
