Mirrorlinks is a script that mirrors directory contents to another directory through symbolic links. It's a small tool that automates mirroring.
All you have to do is to run the commands- mirrorlinks Music Shared and mirrorlinks Music Movies. Once this is done, Shared will have an amalgamation of Music and Movies directories. In other words, Shared will include a single directory containing a combination of Music and Movies directory structures with symbolic links pointing to actual files. Suppose you have files in Music/ATB, the resulting Shared folder will have a folder named ATB containing symbolic linking to the files in Music/ATB.
To sum it up, Mirrorlinks is an easy-to-use script that ensures efficient disk use while providing users with a more organized directory structure.
