MyClipboard is a network shared clipboard manager that works across multiple platforms.
MyClipboard supports the text clipboard so far and works ideally with QT version 4.3 or above. To install MyClipboard from source, the user is required to extract the package and save it somewhere, then implement commands like qmake, make, and copy bin/* /usr/bin/ using sudo.
To utilize MyClipboard, one must begin by running the software. Then, the clipboard contents can be received from other relevant hosts once the configuration dialog is in place. A hostname can be added by noting its IP address and keeping port 4545 unaltered, unless the user is well-versed in the feature's requirements.
The AutoUpdate feature is a fantastic addition for copies to be sent automatically from one host to another when something is copied or cut on the clipboard. Note that it becomes easier for the receiving host to add you and enable the 'Auto Accept' feature while using this capability.
