Namistai is a software that links HTTP-clients to Windows file shares. It simplifies the process of accessing and sharing files between different devices.
However, it is not needed when you have a fast network connection, all your computers are in the same network (i.e., have smb mounts and standard Windows sharing for that purpose), or you don't have Perl.
To use Namistai, you need a Perl 5.8.0 and Samba. The latest release of Namistai includes the latest bug fix - connection-reset-by-peer - that occurred when handling multiple (Keep-Alive connection) requests with HEAD. The update also comes with improved general HEAD/Keep-Alive handling.
Overall, Namistai is an excellent software that helps users access Windows file shares with ease.
