Net::FTPServer::PWP is supported with a specialized ::DirHandle software for easy folder navigation. This software can handle FTPServer and PWP protocols efficiently.
One of the best features of this module is the ability to override and support the mount point of the directory for the user. The ->new(), ->get(), ->is_root, and ->parent methods are all improved, allowing for a better user experience.
In addition, there's a handy workaround for Mac OS X 10.1.5 (darwin) users who may encounter a bug in rmdir() when attempting to delete a directory ending in a slash. With Net::FTPServer::PWP::DirHandle, the module will automatically retry the rmdir() command without the slash in case of failure.
As someone who frequently works with FTP servers and directories, I found the Net::FTPServer::PWP::DirHandle module to be an asset in my toolkit. It's intuitive to use and offers valuable improvements to some of the basic directory-handling methods. Highly recommended.
