This software allows users to send alphanumeric pages to any pager or phone globally by using the SimpleWire network.
To use Net::Pager, simply install it and reference the documentation or example code provided in both the installation package and on the www.simplewire.com website. The sendpage.pl, checkstatus.pl, and servicelist.pl are excellent examples to reference for all the features supported in v2.00. You can also find them in the /eg directory with the Net-Pager-2.00.tar.gz file.
Net::Pager is a global paging interface for both numeric and alphanumeric messages via the Internet. It is the first and only solution that allows any brand or type of pager to interface through one consistent protocol without using the telephone network. SimpleWire developed an XML paging standard that works with Net::Pager to optimize paging technology. This Perl module interacts with SimpleWire's Remote Procedure Calls, which is backed by significant developmental energy.
