NScripts is a bundle of Nautilus scripts.
One of the most impressive features of the package is the availability of numerous scripts that perform different functions. For instance, the Chkmd5 script checks md5sums, while the CopyTo script copies selected files/folders to any location and checks if the user has write permissions. Additionally, the package's Mkmd5 script generates md5sums, and the MoveTo script moves selected files/folders to any location and checks write permissions.
The package also includes the InstallTheme and InstallIcons scripts that can install themes and icons/cursors, respectively, to different locations. As such, users can quickly and easily customize the visual appearance of their system to suit their preferences.
Other notable scripts in the package include Rootilus, which opens the current directory in Nautilus as root, and RootTermInCurdir, which opens a gnome-terminal in the current directory as root. Similarly, the SetAsSplash script allows users to set a session splash screen, while the Shredder script effectively shreds selected files, employing /dev/random or /dev/urandom if they exist.
Overall, this package is an efficient and practical tool for users seeking to enhance their Nautilus experience. The scripts are intuitive and straightforward, and the package is worth trying out. The maxfiles at once is unlimited for almost all the scripts except for SetAsSplash, which is limited to one.
