Oksh is a Linux software that replicates OpenBSD's version of ksh for running shell commands.
Before the oksh project, Linux users only had access to the regular PD ksh and MirOS' mksh, which was buggy and lacked some of the latest OpenBSD ksh features, and was not entirely Bourne compatible. But now, the OpenBSD version of ksh is available too!
That said, oksh project is still a crude hack with some modules from mksh, so it may not be perfect yet. However, this release is now licensed under the GPLv3 and has synchronized with the latest CVS code from OpenBSD. So, it's definitely worth giving it a try if you're looking for a better option for your Linux shell.
