Oxygen-Refit Orange, a modified version of Oxygen-Refit icons from nanolx.org, is a software designed to enhance user experience with better icons.
For those who may not be familiar with it, GNOME is an international group dedicated to building a complete desktop environment, which refers to the graphical user interface on top of a computer operating system, using entirely free software. Its objectives involve creating software development frameworks, choosing application software for the desktop, and developing the programs that manage application launching, window and task handling, and file management. GNOME is part of the GNU Project and can be used with various Unix-like operating systems, especially Linux, and as part of Java Desktop System in Solaris. The name originally stood for GNU Network Object Model Environment, though this acronym is no longer used. GNOME prioritizes simplicity, usability, and making everything "just work."
To run the Oxygen-Refit Orange software, you will need GNOME. This release includes 100% pure orange icons and some new icon resolutions, namely 128x128, 96x96, 72x72, 64x64, 48x48, 32x32, 24x24, 22x22, and 16x16. These new resolutions allow users to have more control over the size of their icons while also adding to the aesthetic appeal of the software.
