PAC plugin for Vim provides syntax highlighting for proxy .pac files.
For those unfamiliar with proxy.pac files, they are used to define how web browsers and other user agents automatically choose the appropriate proxy server for fetching a given URL. This plugin makes working with these files much easier, saving you time and effort.
Vim, which was first released by Bram Moolenaar in 1991 for the Amiga computer, is a text editor that is cross-platform but most popular on Unix-like operating systems. It is free and open-source software released under a license compatible with the GNU General Public License.
Many users may find Vim difficult to learn at first, but with the help of the built-in tutorial for beginners and the Vim Users' Manual detailing both basic and advanced features, it becomes much easier to use efficiently. Vim also has a built-in help facility using the :help command.
System requirements for pac are minimal, you only need Vim. To install pac, simply drop the syntax file into your $HOME/.vim/syntax directory.
