The PHP extension php-sqlite3 allows you to conveniently access SQLite3 databases in your PHP scripts.
It's worth noting that this project is currently alpha-quality, so it's important to test it and report any issues or suggestions for improvement. That said, there are some notable features that are either already available or planned for the extension. For example, it supports in-memory databases, UTF-16 encoding, user-level SQL functions, and the PEAR::DB driver class.
As of the most recent release, there have been some bug fixes and improvements, including better support for BLOB columns and fixed BEGIN...END/ROLLBACK statements queries (thanks to John Morrissey!). All in all, if you need to work with SQLite3 databases in your PHP projects, then this extension is definitely worth checking out. It's not perfect yet, but it's constantly being improved and could be a valuable tool to have in your arsenal.
