PoWeb provides a web-based PO file editor.
One of the first things you need to do when using PoWeb is to install the Locale::PO CPAN module that it uses to parse PO files. This can be done by obtaining the module itself and installing it beforehand.
After installation, PoWeb then has to be configured to run properly. To do this, you need to ensure that the scriptAlias directive in your Apache config is compatible with PoWeb. For example, to make it work, you can consider adding ScriptAlias /poweb /usr/local/poweb/poweb.cgi.
Finally, it's important to customize the relevant variables within poweb.cgi to make the software function the way you want it to. This includes changing things like $po_dir (the directory where PO files are stored) and $session_dir (where session data is kept).
