A tool for PyGTK tree models which enables the creation of a representation of hierarchical data in a graphical way. The tool is designed to work with Python and GTK and allows users to display complex data structures in an intuitive and user-friendly manner.
To ensure users are able to seamlessly run standard tests, Py-gtktree comes with some unit tests, although test coverage is not currently adequate. However, to encourage using these tests, a simple tool to run them can be found in the top directory of the package. Simply execute the command './run-test.py' within this directory. All tests must pass at least in released versions. If they don't, it's a bug that needs to be reported.
For easy installation, users can either run './setup.py build; ./setup.py install' or just './setup.py install' to build and install Py-gtktree. Be sure to refer to the INSTALL file for further details. Overall, Py-gtktree is an indispensable tool for software developers looking to make PyGTK tree models more Python-friendly and efficient.
