PyBison is a speedy parser software, built on Python platform that works at the same speed as C.
As a user, you will need to write a subclass of the basic Parser object, defining a set of methods and attributes, including grammar and lexical analysis rules. Furthermore, PyBison allows you to take callbacks for providing parser input and receiving parser target events.
It's worth noting that currently PyBison only works on Linux (and possibly *BSD-based) systems. However, the good news is that with just two hours of coding for a small shim layer, PyBison could also be made to work on Windows - this feature may be added in time or with the help of volunteers.
In summary, PyBison is an incredible tool for programmers looking to develop fast and efficient parsers. By simply writing a subclass of the basic Parser object, developers can quickly develop parsers with robust lexical analysis and grammar rules employing the power of Bison/Flex. While it's not yet compatible with Windows, future development (and contributions) may see the addition of support for different operating systems.
