Qalculate! is a versatile GNU/Linux desktop calculator designed for a wide range of calculations.
The latest version of Qalculate! features a redesigned graphical user interface (GUI) complete with a history view in the main window, as well as display of as-you-type expression parsing and function hints. Additionally, the completion function has been enhanced, along with the scaling of the result display to vertically fit the window. The history listing has also been improved, and the result display now includes much nicer parentheses.
Qalculate! now includes meta modes, as well as 67 new units such as bel (B) and neper (Np), information units like bit and byte, convenience units (km/h, deciliter, etc.), and more. Binary prefixes have also been added, along with new variables and functions.
The latest release of Qalculate! features many bug fixes and enhancements, including the use of Lambert W to solve more equations and avoid infinite loops, more data on elements, and the simplification of (1-1/x)^3 and similar expressions. The release also includes a fix for clumsy mistakes with prefixes leading to crashes, improved parsing of unit expressions, and more exact values for sin() and cos(). Additionally, new units and functions have been added, along with a new constant: omega.
