qrwho is a user interface for rwho/rwhod that uses Qt technology for a better graphical experience.
The functioning of qrwho is simple, just a single left-click on the screen updates the display - which takes place every minute by default, and a right-click brings up a popup menu that provides information and configuration options. All your preferences and settings are stored in $HOME/.qrwho file.
To build qrwho, you will require g++ qt-2.x: the software doesn't come with any special command line options but only the ones provided by Qt. These include style to set the application GUI style, session to restore the application from an earlier session, and, among others, bg or -background color to set the default background color and an application palette, fg or -foreground color to set the default foreground color, btn or -button color to set the default button color, name, and title - to set the application name and title respectively.
Moreover, depending on whether or not you have compiled Qt with NO_DEBUG flag defined, you can use Qt debugging options such as dograb (under X11), nograb, and sync (under X11) to run the software effectively on your system.
Overall, I found qrwho to be a useful software incase you need to keep track of the number of users and the average loads of hosts in your network. The program is easy to use, and the information provided is accurate, updating frequently.
