QT RssApp is a note-taking app that syncs with a remote server.
The software lacks security features, but HTTP Basic Authentication can be used to partially secure data. Unfortunately, HTTPS support is unavailable, as QT does not support it.
To install the software, running 'qmake' and then 'make' is required, as there is no installation script. Once compiled, the php/rssapp.php file should be copied to a webserver and the initial defines should be updated to match the MySQL database. A table named 'notes' must also be created, with the entire definition available in doc/mysqltable.
After installation, start the application and navigate to File->Settings to specify the URL and username/password. Note that auto-synchronization is not yet available, so users must select File->Synchronize manually.
While not extensively tested, the software works for the developer and may be useful for users looking for a lightweight note-taking and synchronization utility.
