RomaKana is a software that converts Javascript Romaji to Kana in a matter of seconds. This engine can be implemented easily and provides converters with an efficient tool for language conversion.
This often presents major challenges when working with Japanese expressions online, such as the inability to use online dictionaries like WaDoku. However, with RomaKana, all of these hurdles are effectively eliminated.
The software requires the use of a browser that supports Unicode and has Javascript enabled. The recommended mode of use is the browse mode - with RomaKana displayed in the left frame, and the right frame split into two. The top frame is where you can input your text, while the lower frame displays the site, such as a Japanese dictionary, that you would like to search.
In case traditional use is preferred, standard mode is also available. Overall, I highly recommend RomaKana for anyone who needs to input Japanese text temporarily or for users who are still learning the language.
