SDE for Eclipse is a UML modeling tool that's tightly integrated with the Eclipse IDE.
SDE for Eclipse Professional Edition includes even more features than its basic counterpart, with the latest UML notation support, the ability to import data from a Rational Rose importer, an XMI importer, and even Microsoft Visio integration. This software also offers support for HTML/PDF documentation generators, as well as the ability for plug-in and template support.
In the newest release of the software, there are several new features that make it an even better option for users. The Nicknamer feature now enables users to create translated copies of models. Additionally, this release includes support for defining Requirement types and displaying them in a tabular view, increased effects for published web contents, more robust annotation support, and the ability to copy, move, and reorder classes and entity members through the efficient drag and drop feature.
Finally, this latest release also announces the arrival of Model Transitor, which allows for the establishment of transitions and traceability between models. All in all, SDE for Eclipse provides a complete and efficient software solution for UML modeling that continues to grow and develop with each new release.
