This software provides OpenSearch suggestions responses supplied by a source.
ShortName is a brief name that can have up to 16 characters while LongName is an extended name that has a maximum of 48 characters. Description gives a brief explanation of the source, limited to a maximum of 1024 characters. The BaseURL refers to the URL of the script and is automatically set through CGI if it is not predefined. DateModified is a Qualified Dublin Core element that displays the date of the last modification.
Source, on the other hand, displays the data source referred to through dc:source, while Example[s] gives an instance of an inquiry consisting of an ID and an optional response. To use this module, one can initiate SeeAlso::Source->new() or SeeAlso::Source->new(sub { ... }) if optional arguments are to be supplied.
The module provides a method to add the description through $source->description("key" => "value" ...). One can then query the description by passing the $identifier through $response = $source->query( $identifier ). SeeAlso::Source is an excellent module that provides a comprehensive description of sources and extends the search capabilities of OpenSearch documents.
