Switch is a Vim plugin designed to provide a fast and easy way to toggle boolean options. Its simple interface simplifies the process of activating or deactivating commands with just a simple keystroke, saving time and increasing productivity.
To configure this plugin, users need to access the 'config' section to edit the options dictionary. This dictionary is structured with single alphabetic characters as key entries and Vim boolean options as value entries. Users can edit this dictionary to their preferences in two ways. Firstly, they can edit the dictionary inside the switch.vim file. Alternatively, they can set it inside their .vimrc file. Furthermore, users can view the list of available boolean options by typing :set inv.
It is worth mentioning that even though the dictionary can be quite large, Switch.vim only occupies a single key mapping once users have become accustomed to the few keys that they need most. Switch.vim's default key mapping is < C-Q >, and users can view the actual dictionary content by typing < C-Q >< Space >. To toggle an option, they can type < C-Q >{key}.
This plugin's requirements include only Vim. The latest release of this plugin includes multiple 'key:option' pairs added to the default boolean options dictionary. The echoing of the dictionary's keys has also been visually improved, and the dictionary's name has been changed to g:prev_Switch_Dict.
