Symox is a command line utility that enables users to alter the position of the mouse pointer or hide it altogether.
One of the most convenient ways to utilize symox is by incorporating it into an X11 startup script such as your ~/.xsession. That way, as soon as you log in, symox will already be up and running, ready to help you seamlessly navigate your mouse pointer with greater ease.
Using symox is also incredibly straightforward. Simply type the following into the command line: "./symox [-iH] [-h height] [-w weight] [-d delay] &". For more detailed instructions and helpful tips, you can always refer to the built-in help feature by typing the following into the command line: "./symox -H".
By default, symox will set the x and y coordinates to 0 and the delay to 3. However, you can also customize your settings by adding specific options such as -i, which allows symox to behave similarly to KDE's konsole or xine by hiding the Xcursor. Whether you're a seasoned programmer or a novice user, symox offers a wealth of user-friendly features that make it a must-have tool for anyone looking to streamline their mouse movements and overall navigation experience.
