T-ish Metal is a fast and sleek Clearlooks theme for GNOME that resembles OSX Tiger, featuring metal accents for a polished look.
Apart from the classic black themes, T-ish-Metal also has two variations: classic (fast) and aquastyle that comes with black decorations and aqualike scrollbars (but it isn't as fast as classic).
To add to this, T-ish-Metal also contains two metacity themes: one with b&w buttons and the other with colored buttons. It's easy to install and can be done in a few simple steps. Just right-click on your desktop, select Change Desktop Background, click on the first tab - Theme, and drag and drop the theme's archive in the Appearance Preferences window.
If everything is okay, a confirmation message will be displayed and the theme can be activated just by clicking on it. What more could you ask for?
In case you're not familiar with GNOME, it's an international effort to build a complete desktop environment which includes the graphical user interface that sits on top of a computer operating system. GNOME is part of the GNU Project and can be used with various Unix-like operating systems, most notably Linux, and as part of Java Desktop System in Solaris.
The GNOME project places a strong emphasis on simplicity, usability, and making things "just work". In conclusion, T-ish-Metal is a remarkable theme that gives an impressive user experience and I would definitely recommend it to all!
