Perl software for computer telephony programming.
The module's SYNOPSIS code snippet depicts its implementation in Perl. The new Telephony::CTPort() function assigns the first port of the CT card to the $ctport variable. The $ctport->off_hook function sets the interface to off-hook, while the $ctport->play("beep") command plays a beep. The $ctport->record("prompt.wav",5,"") records five seconds of audio to a file named prompt.wav. Finally, the command $ctport->play("prompt.wav") plays the recorded audio back to the user, and the $ctport->on_hook() returns the interface to its idle state.
Telephony::CTPort offers excellent performance and offers simplified interaction with CT hardware while ensuring high accuracy with minimal coding requirements. Its implementation is highly versatile and suitable for a wide range of CT-applications.
