Tipxd is a tool that monitors a local network for IPX 802.3 traffic and creates an IPX tunneling daemon.
The beauty of this program is that it greatly simplifies the playing of games where TCP/IP connections are not possible, and allows users to join Novell Netware Networks, share Windows Drives, and perform other activities that were previously restricted.
The software is designed to look for the configuration file "/etc/tipxd.conf" by default, but users can opt to override this by utilizing the -f option. The configuration file is simple to understand, as it follows a basic record format. Each record features a BEGIN and END statement, as well as tags that can assign values for that particular record.
